Welcome back, Selectors!
Since it’s been requested, and thinking it would be appreciated by the entire community, we’ve decided to release all the decklists from the event held in Milan this past Sunday. Below, you'll find detailed breakdowns of the decks ranked from 5th to 16th place. Let’s dive in!
5th Place - Eugénie Poupet
Remember Control
This deck features the combination of red and black Lrig alongside a white center, fully exploiting Super Ultra Heroes. This allows the deck to deal damage through deck out and add key Signi to the hand while clearing lanes for attacks. We also see staples from the pre-Dissona meta like Remember, Exia, and Myu, forming a very solid control deck.
6th Place - Flavio Gillio
Hanayo
Here we have another Hanayo deck, but this version focuses more on green, as seen in the main deck. It features an interesting piece selection with Wish In (a versatile alternative to Zeno Cluster) and Happiness Float from P14. This card allows for increased ener generation or gives S-Lancer to the entire field, enabling multiple or even lethal damage in a single turn.
7th Place - Antoine Hamelin
Akino Den-On-Bu
The only Akino Den-On-Bu from P14 to make it to the top 8. The deck is quite similar to the lists that have topped during its meta in Japan. One interesting element is the use of Ultra Super Heroes paired with red, white, and black Lrigs. Antoine also opted for Hanayo as a red support instead of Ex, adding a unique twist to the deck.
8th Place - Olivier Rey
Nanashi Blue
This is another Nanashi blue deck, reinforcing the fact that this Lrig and deck formation are dominant in the current meta, representing one of the best-performing decks of the period. However, it requires extensive testing and skill to be piloted effectively.
9th Place - Fabio Salinardi
Alfou Hybrid (Dissona and Non-Dissona)
Just outside the top 8, we have an interesting hybrid Alfou deck. This deck features strong recursion and a solid mill engine, offering a fun and engaging gameplay experience.
10th Place - Jan Kitsune
Mc.Lion Punchline
Jan secured 10th place with a wonderful version of Mc.Lion Punchline, a deck from a bygone era. Perhaps one of the ancestors of today's meta decks, it still proves capable of decent results when expertly piloted. It’s always refreshing to see decks like this make an appearance!
11th Place - Avril Gimenez
Sunspot Yuki
This deck is known for its defensive power, with Signi that are hard to remove because they boost each other when other Dissona Signi are in play. The inclusion of Exia further strengthens the deck’s defense, culminating in Sunspot Memory and Yuki’s Exceed ability.
12th Place - Florian Dubusson
Hanayo Dissona with Hirana Dash Mechanics
Here we see a curious version of Hanayo Dissona that leans more into the old Hirana Dash mechanics instead of focusing solely on the Dissona suite. This is evident from the inclusion of Entwined Supremacy and the use of Flathro and older Hanayo cards.
13th Place - Daniel Salsbach
Sunspot Nanashi (White Nanashi)
This is an alternative Nanashi Dissona list that aims to gain one or two extra turns by leveraging white’s defensive synergies. The deck plays Sunspot Memory instead of Unrest☆UN☆REST!, offering a different take on the archetype.
14th Place - Wutt De Ketelare
White Weenie Tama
We see a return of White Weenie Tama, a deck well known to many of us. It’s one of the iconic decks from the Diva Format’s history, and there’s little new to say about it, but it’s always nice to see it in action.
15th Place - Sara Guglielmino
Dark Tama
At 15th place, we have Dark Tama, the darker version of our beloved protagonist. This combo deck aims to win by clearing attack lanes using Tama’s once-per-turn ability to send an opponent’s Signi to the trash, followed by finishing the game with Mysterious Rendezvous. This enables the player to summon their level 4 Lrig and gain an extra turn to close out the game.
16th Place - Malcom Dubusson
Myu Pripara
Closing out the top 16, we have Myu Pripara, an archetype introduced in P10. This version seeks to maximize synergy between Myu and her once-per-game ability to erase an opponent's Signi Zone, creating powerful plays.
