We’re almost there: this week marks the prerelease of the Blue Archive collaboration! We know many of you have been eagerly waiting for this expansion, so after completing the article focused on the Lrig, today we'll be analyzing the set’s Super Rare cards. Let’s get ready to explore all the possibilities these cards bring to the table. Without further ado, let’s dive in!
WHITE
Utazumi Sakurako
- Power: 10000
- Continuous Ability: Grants +2000 power to all other Blue Archive characters on the field.
- Automatic Ability: When she attacks, you can put 3 "Blue Archive" cards from your Ener to the trash and up this Signi.
- Bond Ability: At the beginning of the Attack Phase, this Signi gains +5000 power until the end of the opponent’s turn.
An extremely offensive Signi. Though the double attack costs 3 Ener, the boost she gives to other Blue Archive Signi makes your board harder to remove, making her a solid pick.
Misono Mika
- Automatic Ability: At the start of the Attack Phase, if all of your Signi are Dissona, you can target an opponent’s Signi with 8000 power or less and discard a card. If the opponent has 4 or more cloth, the Signi is sent to the trash; otherwise, it’s returned to hand.
- Bond Ability: When she enters, an opponent’s Signi loses all abilities until the end of the turn.
With a skillset similar to Orochimaru and other level 2 Signi, her ability is strategic for tribal decks, easily clearing an attack lane.
Aomori Mine
- Power: 12000
- Automatic Ability: Once per turn, when a Signi attacks, select an opponent’s Signi and remove all of its abilities until the end of the turn.
- Life Burst: Send an opponent’s upped Signi to the trash.
A solid defensive Signi. Removing abilities from an opponent’s Signi during their turn can save you from their troublesome effects, and the +10000 power provides a strong board presence.
BLUE
Tendou Arisa
- Power: 10000
- Automatic Ability: When she attacks, an opponent’s Signi loses 4000 power for each card under Arisa.
- Bond Ability: When she destroys a Life Cloth, the opponent discards a card.
An intriguing Signi, especially with the -8000 power debuff that opens up a lane like Utazumi. She synergizes well with Blue Lrig.
Nekozuka Hibiki
- Power: 12000
- Automatic Ability: At the start of the Attack Phase, if all your Signi are "Blue Archive," the opponent discards a card.
She will almost always make the opponent discard 2 cards. A great choice for a "Blue Archive" tribal deck.
Hayase Yuuka
- Power: 12000
- Automatic Ability: During the opponent’s turn, if one of your "Blue Archive" Signi is about to leave the field due to an effect, you can discard two cards to keep it on the field.
- Life Burst: Place an upped Signi from the opponent's field at the bottom of their deck.
Yuuka protects your field and generates card advantage. Thanks to Life Burst and her defensive abilities, she is essential in competitive matchups.
GREEN
Izuna Kuda
- Power: 10000
- Bond Ability: Place this card from the Ener Zone onto the field.
Izuna allows multiple recursions, provided her Bond ability is activated. Great for a tribal deck aiming to maximize "Assassin."
Hoshino Takanashi
- Power: 12000
- Bond Ability: By paying 3 Ener, you can Vanish a Signi with 8000 power or less.
A support Signi for Ener Charge, with potential to remove opponent Signi with the help of a power boost from your field.
Wakamo Kosaka
- Power: 10000
- Life Burst: Choose: Vanish an opponent’s upped Signi or perform Ener Charge 1.
Wakamo brings additional damage and helps you close games. In the right deck, she becomes extremely powerful.
BLACK
Aru Rikuhachima
- Power: 12000
- Continuous Bond Ability: Shadow on level 2 or lower Signi.
In the late game, Aru clears an attack lane for a low cost, and her Bond offers a unique defensive option.
Iroha Natsume
- Power: 10000
- Life Burst: Destroys an opponent’s level 2 or lower Signi.
Iroha revolves around retrieving "Toramaru," gaining +5000 power and additional strategic abilities. She pairs well with Blue Lrig.
Haruna Kurodate
- Power: 10000
- Bond Ability: By paying 1 black Ener, choose an opponent’s Signi, and any power debuff to it is doubled until the end of the turn.
Though she requires some support from other cards, Haruna is useful, especially for applying debuffs to more powerful Signi.
